Lawrence Fine Art is pleased to announce the representation of aerial photographer Brad Walls. Brad is a prize-winning aerial photographer whose style focuses on experimentation with negative space, symmetry and leading lines. For example, “most people have seen ballet photographed traditionally and while those photos are undeniably beautiful, I want to rewrite the composition, purely focusing on the unique shapes and shadows of the art form," says Brad.

 

Aerial photography has become increasingly sophisticated, with some of the best images considered fine art and sold as such. In fact, last year marked the launch of the first Aerial Photography Awards in Paris, where a jury of artists and other creatives judged the best photos submitted by thousands of photographers from 65 countries, using drones, helicopters, kites, balloons or airplanes. Brad won an award in the sports category for "Ball Up," a photo of a tennis player.
